The future of edge computing has a name - Teridion
Teridion started as one entrepreneur’s quest to get decent streaming video. That vision drew together some of the best routing and networking engineers from Cisco, Akamai and IBM. The Teridion team built a virtual network running in the public cloud that enables sub-second web app response times worldwide from a single data center.
Moving forward, Teridion is partnering with customers like Box and Egnyte to extend its multi-cloud orchestration engine beyond edge routing to address new edge computing challenges. These challenges include edge monitoring, security and distributed query processing.
